So I am 14 weeks pregnant -- officially in the second trimester! And that makes our baby roughly the size of a lemon. That's pretty amazing, considering when we found out at four weeks, it was the size of a poppyseed!
What's the baby up to now? "Your adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth. " I have a feeling the body hair is coming from my side of the family.
